More than three years later, on 5 May 2023, the COVID-19 global health emergency was officially declared over. Over those three years, countries fought to save lives and prevent serious illness as the world endeavored to make COVID-19 vaccines available everywhere. Now, it is time to process and appreciate humanity’s incredible journey, reflecting on the collective lessons learned so we can better prepare for the future. Developed by CEPI, Gavi, UNICEF and WHO alongside thousands of data, science and photojournalist contributors from around the globe, The-Delivery.org is a digital time capsule that preserves the stories and data of the COVID-19 vaccine delivery efforts.
